Three years ago, as a Media Trust Mentor, I was able to support teenage groups working on their films, like the one made by Marie Solange in the picture with me above. You can see the result on Youtube here.

We could see how powerful media storytelling tools are in taking us into their world, and also providing them with a fresh perspective on life as they were planning, collaborating and creating. Building platforms where new voices can thrive is one of the central aims of Raindance and of the Independent Film Trust, the UK charity with which it works.
