In recognition of Carl’s work supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign he has been named WWE Community Champion for the North West.  To celebrate Carl’s achievement please do consider donating to the charity.

Carl, 24, has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and is a huge WWE fan. He met WWE Diva Trish Status some years ago and the two of them have struck up a friendship that sees them writing to each other, and Trish being a surprise guest at Carl’s recent birthday party.

Following a traumatic near-death experience, caused by his condition, Carl decided to dedicate himself to campaigning to raise awareness of his condition. To date he has raised over £100,000 for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
