Story

The team would like to say a massive thanks to 'Mulebar', who have kindly got behind the team, in order to make this event happen and most af all successful!

On the 4th Feb 2012, a 3 man team from 58 Sqn RAF Regt, based at RAF Leuchars, are going to attempt the 'Thames Trot' 50 mile endurance race, organised by 'Go Beyond'.

The Sqn have been on operations since April in Afghanistan, not due to return to the UK till November 2011.

On return from the tour the lads will have around 12 weeks to get themselves ready for the challenge, most of their training getting done during there post Op leave, during Xmas and New Year.

In order to keep wit the military theme, the lads will be undertaking the challenge in military attire, wearing MTP, combat boots and carrying their patrol sacks.

The time limit for the event is 12 hours, the lads are aiming to complete this in under 10 hours.

In order to make this event more worthwhile they are raising money for injured comrades, with all proceeds going to Help 4 Heroes.

Any sponsor no matter how small will go along way, helping H4H continue there amazing work supporting the British Troops injured in combat all over the world.

Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
