Elliot Haley is the cousin of Brett Goldup, who recently joined our football team. Elliot is 4 months old and was born with a  cleft lip and palate. Elliot had an operation to repair his lip a few weeks ago and will undergo another operation in 5 months to repair his palate. Brett wanted to do something to raise money for CLAPA as they are providing vital support to Elliot through providing special items, such as drinking bottles, as well as visiting him at home to monitor his progress. Brett has asked his new team-mates, if they would help him raise money for CLAPA by taking part in an event that he would organise. All 24 members of our squad including coaches agreed to help Brett in his quest. 

So on the 7th of October, we will embark on our mission to complete as many laps of our football pitch as we can in 30 minutes.
