Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

I have been toying with the idea of shaving my head for charity for a long time. I have long thick hair that I am proud of, I am incredibly vain.

Cancer has affected my family, thankfully I come from a family of fighters who have all been fortunate to beat cancer.

Some people aren't so lucky however, some people have to come to terms with being desperately ill and losing their hair as they try to get better. That thought sobered me to no end, and I thought to myself  'suck it up princess'.

And here we are today...

I have set a date, my hair will be donated to a charity that make wigs for little girls who lose their hair through illness.

And I would like to raise at least £2000 for St. Wilfrid's hospice.

They do phenomenal work and make those final hours for desperately ill people comfortable and dignified.

I can't imagine how terrible it would be to know that someone you love is facing thier last moments. To have the reassurance that they will be cared for by these wonderful people is a tiny glimmer of light in a very dark period.

We need to support them and in turn help those who deserve to have the best in those moments.

Anything that you would like to donate would be very gratefully received.

Thank you.
