Unconventionally, I am raising money after I have completed the half marathon today! The reason? I turned up to support Paul Verrico, his wife, Anna, and their two small children from the sidelines today. I was, however, overwhelmed by the support, love and positivity at the start line today for Paul and his family which geared me up to do the run in spite of no training, and definitely not being a runner (this is the first run I've done). I completed the run in 2.35hr.

The Verrico family has been raising money to sponsor a doctoral student to carry out a "cure cancer" project after Anna was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer. Recently, the Verrico family received devastating news that Anna's cancer has spread and she is now very ill.
