My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I haven’t cycled seriously for many, many years – but having recently lost over 8 stone in weight, I have taken up a challenge to cycle 350km in Cuba in aid of 4 cancer charities (Marie Curie Cancer Care, Children with Leukaemia, Ovarian Cancer Action & The Lymphoma Association). Cancer charities are dear to my heart having lost my Mum to the dreaded disease when she was just 46 years old (and I was only 19), and having beaten the Big C myself in 1992.
It is going to mean a lot of training and fundraising, but I'm sure that with the support of my fantastic family and all you lovely people who donate, we can do it...
So please dig deep and donate now.
I will try to keep this page as up-to-date as possible - adding photos from training sessions and events - so please keep coming back and having a look!
