In 17 years of working at Arnold Clark, I’ve been very lucky
to be part of the lives and stories of thousands of people, from all walks of life.

But in such a big company, with over 12,500 people, it’s
inevitable that many of those people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. And cancer will have an impact on many more around them – their parents, partners, children, siblings, friends and colleagues.

The Beatson Cancer Charity is there to offer treatment, care
and compassion, and their work is made possible by donations. I’ve been to the centre in the West of Scotland several times, and I’m always touched and humbled by those who I meet there.

On Saturday, 12^th October, I’ll be taking to the skies above St Andrews as part of a group. We’ll be digging deep and finding
the inner strength to jump out of a plane and raise money for the Beatson – just as so many people have to dig deep and find the strength to face up to cancer, every single day.
