Nystagmus means involuntary movements of the eye. It impairs vision, affecting focus and depth perception. At least 1 in 1,000 babies are born with nystagmus. There is currently no cure. The Nystagmus Network is a UK registered charity which provides support, raises awareness and funds research.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. If you wish to join in please come on line ISC Sowpods wordbiz.

I have two Grandchildren with Nystagmus. Nystagmus Network is a small charity working on behalf of those with this visual impairment.  In fact in the case of one of my Grandchildren the impairment is so severe that she is registered blind. This condition is not common and the charity is small and hence not well known.  Anything we can do to help those with this condition and raise awareness of the charity will help in the quest for improvement in the lives of those unfortunate enough to have this problem.
