I seem to have gone slightly mad in this heat, as I've decided to shave my head to raise money for Diabetes UK.

My mum has been a Type One diabetic for nearly forty years. I remember when she became a diabetic. It was terrifying for a 6 year old, seeing your mother loose so much weight, and be so ill. When my work chose this charity as there charity of the year I new I had to do something different. Please help me to raise as much as I can, and give some hope to my children and others who have an increased risk of developing this disease through hereditary factors.
