Our aim is to be the first port of call for people in Dacorum who are facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion; to support and empower them to take the next positive step in their lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Five weeks to go until the big day so I'm stepping up the training programme for the big event.  I started running just over two years ago to keep fit and decided this year that I'd run for a good cause.  I'm running 5 miles/8km in the Pies and Peas race (near Warrington) for DENS (Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter) a local charity for the homeless based in Hemel Hempstead.  As we are all only 3 steps away from becoming homeless this is a great way to support people in Dacorum who are homeless today.  The money raised will be used to help provide food, shelter and support to enable people to get back on their feet.

If you want to know more about DENS visit www.dens.org.uk and thank you for your donation.
