Story

Well this is my third cycle challenge the first inspired by my beautiful mum who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2012.

In 2014 cycled in celebration of my dear friend Lucy loo who battled her way through breast cancer and kicked cancers butt :).

My next challenge is going to be in 2016 which I am going to ride in support of a beautiful lady called Susan Lockyer who has not only raised a staggering amount for cancer research herself but sadly has also been a victim to this dreadful disease having lost her son Gary and Husband Brian within 5 months of each other in 2013.

If that was not enough Susan has now herself been handed the fate of battling cancer and she is my motivation for raising as much as we possibly can. Please join me in supporting Susie in kicking cancers butt just like Lucy did. We can do it and Susie will get through it.xx

So the fund raising is going well so far....

To add to 2015  crazy days lusa seccombe allowed me to shave her hair off at the station pub in ashington to support her beautiful aunty Suzy through her chemo days. Lisa has kindly agreed to donate her sponsorship to my fund raising page which absolutely means so much to me on many levels.

Well she did  it nutty Lisa now gives sineade oconner a run for her money both in looks and the voice.com....what a fantastic afternoon we had at the station in ASHINGTON YESTERDAY. Big thanks to Alan who runs the pub and for having his beard shaved off for the charity. I cant thank you all enough for donating prizes supplying buffet etc in supporting 'big shave. You have raised an excess of 1350 yesterday and there is still money coming in. The best thing was Lisa's Aunty Susie found the strength to come along even though the chemo is taking its toll. With days like this it makes me proud to live in the North east we are a canny bunch divn't have much but what we have we like to share.

Well we are now in 2016 and a kick in the ass off raising the min sponsorship. Thankyou with all of my heartxxxxxxx

Now i have the space to do my side of bargain and start to train...i have fair bit of lard to shed but will do it....with friends like you supporting me how could i not xxxxxx

Thankyou love carole
