Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you will know, I am running the Great North half-marathon. I am running to raise money for Rethink, a charity that serves the severely mentally ill. The services Rethink provides include: befriending; a helpline; and a campaign to raise awareness and understanding of mental illness. Rethink makes people think twice before judging and isolating mentally ill people, who are among the most marginalised in our society. I'm delighted to run (maybe that should be 'jog') for Rethink and their important work. I am also running the race in memory of my brother John, who suffered with mental illness.
Please give if you feel so moved. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you!
Carole
