Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - I am trying to raise £1775 minimum sponsorship - vital funds for the Children's Adventure Farm Trust by collecting sponsorship for 'The Sahara Stomp'  which I plan to take part in, November 18th to 23rd, 2010 - This is going to be a tough trek through one of the world's most amazing deserts in the world - the Sahara!!

A trekking challenge...

The Challenge is to trek for three days through this ever-changing landscape, to climb to the top of the Chigaga Dunes and view the desert sun-rise. The days will be hot, and the trekking will be tough, but the rewards of conquering this desert and the pleasure of having the High Atlas Mountains as our backdrop will be worth it! so I'm going to join a group of 30 people as we make our effort to conquer The Sahara!

The Children's Adventure Farm Trust

The Adventure Farm provides holidays and activities for terminally ill, chronically sick, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the Northwest. A magical special place where laughter and happy times are encouraged, friendships blossom, illnesses and sorrows are forgotten.

The Adventure Farm Trust provide life-changing experiences and opportunities to thousands of terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children each year. All children, regardless of age, ability or social circumstance, have the right to play in a safe environment. For many children, this is not possible in their daily environment. A holiday or daytrip at The Adventure Farm gives these children a fantastic opportunity to escape the stresses and traumas of their everyday life and simply become children again. CAFT give these children the opportunity to improve the quality of their lives, recognise their potential and achieve their goals.

CAFT show them that there is a world outside of the world they live in, giving them something to aim for, giving them hope. Each year, CAFT must raise £750,000 in order to continue to fulfil their promise to these children.

By donating money to The Sahara Stomp Activity you will be helping CAFT to provide these amazing, vital experiences to so many children in desperate need from all over the region.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for The Children's Adventure Farm Trust.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank-You
