My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 1st October 2011, I will be jumping out of a plane at 12,000 feet to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK.
A crucial fact about my jump is that I'm doing it solo rather than tandem. I chose to do this because I wanted people to see that I was prepared to really face my fears for this cause, in the hope that it would encourage people to be more generous!
I've chosen Bowel Cancer UK because a number of family members of mine have died from this disease so the work of this charity means a lot to me.
Please note that I am personally covering the costs associated with the jump (around £300) so any money you donate will go straight to the charity and in no way pays for me to do this, so please do dig deep.
