<p>Tony, Caroline and Sebastian would like to raise lots of money and awareness for the 'Katie Piper Foundation' -&nbsp;a new 'burns' charity. Katie was facially burned in a vicious&nbsp;acid attack 3 years ago - and has a harrowing story of recovery and coming to terms with her changed life. Last year Katie set up this charity for other burns victims. The foundation aims to provide different treatments for those living with burns, create a support network and ultimately would like to see the creation of a treatment centre like the one in France where Katie stayed as part of her treatment after her attack.</p> <p>You may have seen her story on a Channel 4 program last year - 'My Beautiful Face'.&nbsp; This year, she presented a new series 'Katie: My Beautiful Friends' on Channel 4 which told the stories of other people with disfigurement.</p> <p>This September, the three of us and a few friends are off to France! Our plan is to cycle the 'Canal Du Midi' towpath from Bordeaux to Sete (see map!)- as Katie was treated for many months in the South of France.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is 6 days of approximately 50 miles cycling a day!... Eeeek - what have we let ourselves in for! We have never done cycling like this before... so please give generously! We have started some practice rides... so far... 16 miles with Sebastian on the back of my bike... so far he likes it, which is a good thing!
