Always wary of funds raised disappearing into the bureaucratic coffers of large charities I was delighted and humbled by the work that is being done in an immediate and hands-on way for the slum children of Calcutta by The Hope Foundation.
EVERY POUND/DOLLAR DONATED WILL GO (IN ITS ENTIRETY) TO HEALING/EDUCATING AND HOMING THESE CHILDREN.
The effort I put in will not just be on the day of the race but in the many hours of training over the next few months.
Please help me reach my goal which would cover the cost of educating 5 children for a whole year!
