Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As a lot of you will know, I have been training since May to take part in a 500 mile relay bike ride through France. However, I have been training as a substitute and to support my collegue Linda Plowright who is also taking on the challenge - however, on return from my holidays, I discovered that I have a place in a team for myself! This has suddenly spurred me on to re-double my efforts at training.
I AM NOT A CYCLIST! I have never been a cyclist, and until May had no aspirations to be a cyclist - however, a challenge is a challenge and the gaunlet has been thrown down! To increase the pressure, I have a mere 3 weeks to raise £300 - so I need your help!
The events three main charities are MK Snap, Prostate Cancer Charity and RNLI, but two thirds of the money my team raise will go towards Aspley Guise Scout Group and Sports Leaders UK, the latter of which has a brief description below:
Sports Leaders UK uses sport to deliver leadership training to young people. Candidates often live in the socially & economically deprived communities of the UK, including prisons and young offenders institutes. The Awards help people turn their lives around. Qualified Sports Leaders are encouraged to volunteer in their local community, promoting healthier lifestyles and building community capacity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks, Carolyn
