Dianne and I, with the help of Dianne's husband Steve, completed the Great North Run last year as a personal challenge for which I have just been nominated for the BUPA Great North Run Award.

This year we have decided to do a re-run! and would like to ask you to help us raise money for the brilliant work Disability North does. Disability North is a local charity, here in Newcastle that aims to provide information and advice on all aspects of disability, promoting inclusion, independence and choice for disabled people. With a team of experts we offer specialist advice and support with benefits, Direct Payments, equipment & adaptations, Disability Discrimination issues, training and access audits.
