Story

As part of my degree (BA Early Years Education), I had the chance to visit schools, orphanages and nurseries for children in Lesotho, South Africa. The experience was overwhelming and simply, unable to be described in words!

However, during my visit there was one experience that will always stay with me. This was visiting a school for children with visual impairments, supported by the charity, Sentebale. Some of the children had been disowned by their families and had no place to stay, with what seemed to be no future ahead of them. But, Sentebale provided these children with beds to sleep on, accessible toilet facilities, ramps for those with severe visual impairments, braille machines and papers. This support provides children with a future.

But, these children still need our help. With only one braille machine in the school, teachers have to translate every sentence by hand, for every class. Braille paper is expensive and unable to be bought nearby.

Please sponsor Sentable now, any donation will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!!
