Our friend was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia on the 23rd July this year.  She is 35 and has 3 teenage children.  Being in the beatson and away from her family is tough on its own without trying to find the inner strength to get better.  With the support of friends and family we will get her through this.

We have taken on this 4 10k challenge in 4 months as she is undergoing 4 rounds of chemo.  So no matter how hard we find it, it's not half as tough as what she is going through.

if you are not in the position to donate please could I ask u to donate blood, none of us know what lies ahead of us and a drop of blood could mean the difference between life and death.   It's not till u are in that position u realise how important the good will of others actually is.
