Malle to Hartley Wintney Cycle Ride · 23 August 2013

St John's Church is the parish church in the Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney. In April 2012, the church commenced the building of a new £2.3m Church Centre, which, when completed in June 2013, will provide new facilities for our church and wider community. Please help us to raise the final 20%.

Story

The Jamieson's are at it again but this time it's Carolyn and Ali who are taking up the challenge by attempting to cycle from Malle (Belgium) to Hartley Wintney, 300 miles, 4 days, August bank holiday - although this definitely won't be a holiday!

We need your support and encouragement PLEASE!  Prior to training Carolyn had only ever cycled 7 miles in one go and moaned all the way!  Ali hadn’t sat on a bike since the Paris to Hartley Wintney marathon two years ago.  It’s hard work and this will be epic!

Any donation, no matter how small, will really be appreciated as all money raised will be used to support three local charities: St John’s Church who are nearing completion of an amazing new church centre; The Matthew Elvidge Trust set up to increase awareness of depression and prevent young people committing suicide and St Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke who provide care for cancer patients and their families.

If you fancy joining in on the 4th day why not sign up - it's only 80 miles and you won't be slower than us!!
