Windsor Half Marathon 2009 · 27 September 2009 ·

Our objective is simple: 'Building Better Futures' for young adults with autism, by providing bespoke employment training and work experience. Training takes place at The Autism Trust & Polly's Place in Camberley, which sells handmade gifts & art created by people with autism & their families.

Story

...and it really is a challenge for me! I've wanted to run a half marathon for a while and decided 2009 would be the year I'd do it and the Windsor half marathon on the 27th September is the event! But the training is TOUGH, and the prospect of dragging myself - and a few uninvited spare tyres! - around 13.1 miles is pretty daunting! - especially now its just two weeks to go until race day!

To keep me motivated and help a great cause, I'm hoping to raise money for The Autism Trust who are raising funds to create innovative wellness centres to support people with autism and their families. I'd be really greatful if you could add your support by donating - I'll do the hard bit!

Thank you so much, I'll keep you posted on progress!
