WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.

Story

Until July 2020 I will be attempting to walk a total of 500 miles while carrying a 30kg Cast Iron Pump on my back. During this challenge I'm hoping to take on greater hiking and mountain challenges along the way.

All of this effort is going towards WaterAid which is helping to provide people around the world with access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.

This is also being supported by Business4Life, a scheme within Wessex Water, which is hoping to raise a total of £48,000 through a range of personal and large scale events.

I'll be keeping a blog of all the updates as and when they happen. I will also be tracking all the miles on a dedicated Strava Account.

------CHALLENGE 1 - Confirmed ------

On the 28th of September I'm going to be scaling Wales's highest peak, Snowdon, with a total height of 1,085 meters.
