My story

After last year's 150 mile C2C cycle challenge, a group of 15 of us have decided to push ourselves further by cycling 170 miles over 3 days along the Way of the Roses. Some are doing it for fun (!) and others for individual charities of their choice. As Caroline and I work with people with rheumatological conditions we decided to set up a shared page for sponsorship and support the good work of the Haywood Foundation. Any donations will be gratefully received. Thank you.

We made it! The first day was very humid and the hills started 35 miles in and then we got soaked. Day 2 more hills and rain. Day 3 the odd sneaky hill but sunny weather and warm sea!!!
