Many thanks to all of you who have sponsored me for the Reykjavik marathon.  I successfully completed the run in 4hours and 20mins.  The conditions were pretty good, with a smattering of rain and a breeze which by Icelandic standards could be described as light.   

If you haven´t already sponsored me, the opportunity still exists!  In recognition of the effort to train and complete a marathon, I'd really appreciate it if you would make a donation, large or small, to my selected charity - The Medical Foundation for the Victims of Torture.  They aren't funding any of the trip, so aside from the small levy from Justgiving, all the money will be going directly to the charity for their good works.
