My story
On 30th September I will be undertaking the Robin Hood Half Marathon. The 13-mile course has been described as 'flat and scenic' - which is a good start as I have never trotted this far before!
All the money raised will be donated to King's Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield which needs to buy a new MRI scanner. The state-of-the art piece of equipment means that serious illnesses, for example brain tumours, can be detected far more quickly.
The scanner costs £750,000 which is a huge amount but every single donation will count.
