Hiya!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page I really appreciate it.
Here is a little bit about why I am taking on Ride London later this year.
Whether it's just me getting older, or the abundance of negative information on social media, the world seems like a pretty sad place at the moment. This is especially true for vulnerable children who have done nothing to contribute the chaos that is happening around them, but still end up caught in the fallout.
So I am completing this year's 100 mile, 'Ride London' for Unicef in the hope that I can contribute something (small as it is) to help try and enhance the lives of some of these children in any way possible. Although I am a keen (......if the weather is nice and there are suitable cake based refreshments on offer) cyclist and have completed numerous sportives this will be my longest ride so far, the only one I have ever done solo, (insert sad music here) and will still be a big challenge for me.
I would really appreciate any sponsorship you may be able to manage (insert puppy dog begging face here......). Not only will you be improving lives, you will also be furthering your good karma/warm and fuzzy feelings and will probably add at least ten years onto your life expectancy.....honest!
Thank you!
