I will be taking on an Iron(wo)man challenge - but sneakily I'll be doing it over the month of September instead of all in one go! It's still a monster - I'll be running 42.2k, cycling 180.2k and swimming 3.8 k (152 lengths)...I'll start on the 1st September, take pics of my progress and finish on or before the 30th September. I'll be doing this in the hours I have available around my job.
All funds raised will go to Nia, a charity which provides services for women, children and young people who have experienced male violence.
Some of you may know Denise Marshall, she has been CEO of the charity Eaves, now an ambassador of theirs. Denise is inspirational - she makes you want to be and do better. She has been living with inoperable cancer and fighting hard and this event is being carried out to honour her and all she does.
