Story
I am running a Marathon in Spring 2015 to raise money to fund an operation for a friend's 4 year onld son, Tristan, to help him walk.
Tristan has Cerebal Palsy, which causes stiffness in his limbs and joints making it very difficult for him to walk. There is a surgery called SDR which Tristan needs in order to have a chance of walking. Unfortunately this surgery is no longer funded on the NHS, so we are all trying to help raise the money needed so that Tristan can have this life changing operation in America.
In addition to the operation Tristan will need 2 years of intensive physiotherapy, so money raised will also go towards paying for this.
Please give generously to this little boy. He was born 9 weeks prematurely in 2009 and spent 5 weeks in Neonatal Intensive Care. He has a little brother and it would be amasing to see them both running about together in the garden.
Thank you for your support. You can find the full story at www.justgiving.com/tristanstarget
We are raising money for Tristan through Tree of Hope. ALL money donated is ring-fenced for him. You can follow our fundraising efforts and get details on events by going to www.facebook.com/tristans.target
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Should we exceed the target amount (or if we do not raise enough funds, or if they cannot be used for any other reason) the funds raised will go to the general funds of Tree of Hope to assist other sick children.
