<p>Sunday 12th June - What a day!</p>
<p>Despite the weather forecast not being good, I was hoping that the rain would at least hold off until mid-morning, but it wasn't to be. We got soaked through! Again! Perhaps it will be sunny next year?</p>
<p>Den finished in a very credible 1hr 6 minutes - not bad for only three weeks training - and I finished just behind him in 1 hr 12 minutes. (2 minutes faster than last year......)</p>
<p>Well, we've done the easy bit - there's still plenty of time for people to sponsor us as this page stays open until mid-September. If you've sponsored us in the "old fashioned way" I'll try and collect the money from you around pay day at the end of the month.</p>
<p>Thank you to everyone who has supported us - I'll post the final total when we know it.</p>

<p>Saturday 4th June...... Last training run before the big day and I did over 6 miles!!!! That's the longest run that I've had for ages. Den did more, but we don't want him to get too big headed.</p>
<p>All set now for Sunday, so we just need to get raising some funds now. If you've already sponsored us, then a big, big thank you. If not, then the just giving site will be open until mid September. Its really easy and the cash goes straight to the charity.</p>

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p>I'm going to be running the Two Castles 10km with my brother-in-law (Dennis) on Sunday 12th June. Den's Mum, Cynthia had breast cancer a few years ago and was, thankfully, treated successfully. Since then we've had a few fund raising events specifically to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care, and are hoping that we can raise more this year. (Watch out for our Pink Friday - 14th October 2011!)</p>
