Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Well, I did it! In 4h 23 mins and 43 seconds. Miles 19-24 were the pits, but it was a really fun day and the party afterwards was great.
Thanks to your amazing generosity, I've managed to go over my target of £1500 for for FSID, the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths. It's the UK's leading baby charity aiming to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy and promote infant health. Many of the FSID runners this year have lost babies to cot death and are running in memory of their children. FSID funds research and disseminates information to prevent this from ever happening, and also works to support bereaved families through this heartbreaking experience. I got involved with the charity thanks to my aunt, Anita Evans, who ran the marathon in 2008 for FSID at the age of 60!!! She looks a lot younger though.
Any additional donations will be greatly appreciated.
