On the 3rd of March 2017 I will be in Coventry taking part in Peter Kay's Dance for Life 2017. This is a great event used to raise money for lots of wonderful charities. I will be dressing up in fancy dress and dancing with Peter Kay as the DJ, whilst raising money for Cancer Research.

Cancer research is a charity very close to my heart. Last April my family lost the most remarkable lady that ever existed; my nan. If it wasn't for her strength and the work of Cancer research I would not have been able to spend my 21 years of life with her.

My Nan truly was the life and soul of our family. She is very sadly missed and always remembered. Every day I would go to her house to sit with her in the afternoons or after uni and we would sit watching Deal or no Deal or NCIS (arghhhhh) at the time it seemed like nothing but I would do anything now to have my afternoons back with her. But I can’t, and instead I want to this charity event with the hope of raising some money towards cancer research so that in the future others do not have to suffer and cancer is detected earlier.
