Story

Wow made it to over £2000. Thanks for all the support. Let's hope the weather is good next Saturday xx

Only a week to go eek!!!

Only a week to go. Eek!!!

Well we have more than doubled the £750 target (thanks to you all) but not stopping there :-)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Call me mad, stupid, brave or any other adjective you wish but I have signed up to take part in a Wing Walk in support of Parkinson’s UK on 28th May 2016.

It is a cause very close to my heart as my partner was diagnosed just over a year ago at the age of 48. This is very young as Parkinsons is seen as an old persons disease. Whilst he is currently well controlled on medication who knows what the future holds or when the medication will stop working (and we are sure it will). Therefore it has become very clear to me that there needs to be as much research as possible to assist all Parkinson sufferers.

So I am asking if you could dig deep and sponsor me to stand on the wing of a bi-plane whilst it flies around the skies (strapped on hopefully).

As I need to raise a minimum of £750 in quite a short space of time any donation would be gratefully received.

Thank you.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
