Story

In March I will be turning 40 (eek!) and, in a mad moment, I decided to set myself a challenge to mark this milestone in my life! So, I signed up for Bath Half Marathon which takes place on 3rd March 2013 and thought I'd try and raise some money for a good cause while I was at it!

Last year my very lovely friend Jo suffered a stroke at the age of 35 and although she has made a good recovery it has really made me realise that strokes don't just affect older people, and the impact on family life can be massive. Therefore I am raising money for the Phoenix Stroke Appeal which supports the rehabilitation of stroke patients across Cornwall.
