Informa's 3 Peaks Challenge · 22 May 2015

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2015 I will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for The Prince’s Trust.

The challenge is climbing the three highest peaks in the UK in the space of 24 hours - including travel time. We'll start at the bottom of Ben Nevis (Scotland), then head to Scafell Pike (England) and finish with Snowdon (Wales).

Distance - 42 Kilometers & Ascent - 3,000 meters….what better way to spend the bank holiday weekend?!

I have never done anything like this before and for those that know me, know how lazy I am and how much I love my sleep! So this will be a massive mental and physical challenge for me, requiring a lot of preparation work but one that I am also really looking forward to and for a worthy cause.

The Prince's Trust do some incredible work and they need to raise a staggering £60m this year to continue helping 58,000 young people in the UK. Take a look for yourself at the amazing work they do and the stories of the people they have helped at http://princes-trust.org.uk/default.aspx

I know people get asked to support numerous different events throughout the year but any donation, however big or small that will help me to do this will be greatly appreciated by me and the Prince’s Trust.

Thanks for reading and thank you in advance for your donations, as this challenge may actually kill me!
