For those of you who haven't heard already I've been convinced by my best friend to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 11th October. She has been bullying me badly (trying to stop me eating so much chocolate!) and chasing me around the streets of Burgess Hill (and occasionally Brighton and Haywards Heath) for months now to whip me into shape!

The big day is now looming and I'm after your hard earned cash to make sure that all of the training has been worthwhile. I've chosen to raise money for the Sussex Air Ambulance which is a fantastic local cause. The Air Ambulance costs £1.6 million per annum, to provide an emergency helicopter to the people of Sussex. With no Government, National Lottery or NHS support, their life saving service is entirely dependant upon fundraising, so please give as generously as you can!
