The Christie cancer hospital in Manchester cares for people from all over the country and provides the most excellent facilities for people with all kinds of cancer.  

My husband Ian and our very good friends Angie and Mike are 3 people who have had to rely on that care over the last few years.

I want to say a big thank you to them for the care they had.  The statistics tell us that 1 in every 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer and sadly it's likely that I will know more people who need their care

It's been a while since  I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and boy is a sky dive going to do that.! Anyone that knows me well will testify to the fact that I'm not good with heights. 

So being strapped to a hunky sky diver and hanging on for grim death is certainly going to test my courage!!! :)
