Anyone that knows me will be aware that I'm not a finely honed athlete that's been training hard (or very much at all). Once a year, I take part in the KC corporate challenge in the Hull 10K and increasingly its a case of mind over ever-expanding matter.

I do it because its a chance to be part of something really special - a team of people coming together and raising money for really important causes. Cancer is a terrible disease at any time but being diagnosed in your teenage years is really, really tough. The TCT works hard to support these young people and provide the best environment for them while they have their treatment. That's why I'll be gritting my teeth and running the course for another year. Anything you can donate would be gratefully received.
