Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 18th September, I'll be running, walking or crawling through the 13.1 miles of Great North Run to raise money for 'Footsteps Foundation' - a wonderful little charity making a big difference for young children like my friends daughter, Eve.

Eve is a smashing little 6 year old, with a cracking sense of humour and a zest for life. Eve loves to do the same things as children her own age, but sometimes struggles to fully integrate. Eve has Cerebral Palsy, restricting her physical ability.

The Footsteps Physiotherapy Centre is based in Oxford and offers a unique approach to therapy by using a range of techniques. Eve has attended Footsteps once already and made fantastic progress in a short space of time.

The goal is to raise enough cash for Eve to continue this progress by attending the footsteps centre two or three times more over the next year. Each three week block of therapy costs around £1500, so that's what I have set as my fundraising goal.

You may have seen my running schedule on Facebook - sometimes it's good, sometimes not so . . . but whatever happens on the day, I promise to give it my best shot and try to beat last years PB of 2:05:00.

If there's one thing you do today, please take 5 minutes to learn more about Eve's Journey.

Thanks so much for your support xx
