Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.With clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, children are born healthier. They get the chance to go to school and grow up to become adults. Women and men get to earn a living. Whole communities start to thrive. It sounds normal and it should be.

Actually the environment protection means a lot to me, especially for the water protection. I was born in Sichuan, one of the biggest province in the south west part of China. It is also one of the most populated province in China with the Yangtze as the mother river. I was growing up beside the river to witness the deterioration of the water condition. It was sad to see those beautiful landscapes turning into dirty, stinking and bleak. That is the most important reason why I would like to contribute more in the volunteering and fundraising activities which can help to build a better and healthier world. And I also witnessed the power of the environment protection activities. With all the efforts of the volunteer activities, the awareness for environment protection has been raised a lot. The public awareness had stopped the deterioration situation. And I'm glad to see that we can expect a turning point in the near future
