Story

Hello,

Thank you for visiting my page. As you will have read I'm doing the Paisley 10k in August. The money raised will be donated to the Scottish Dementia Services Trust. The primary aim of the project is to improve the quailty of life of both the person with dementia and her/his carer by raising the level of understanding and knowledge of dementia possessed by carers. As you know my grandad, Joseph Walker had many titles - a war hero, role model, father, husband, grandad, but above all a gentleman to the end. A true inspiration he was still cycling 3 times a week up until he was 88 years old. He struggled for several years with advancing dementia, gradually becoming more dependant on the family for help. This page is to pay tribute, not just with money but to the memory of my grandad aswell so please dig deep and donate and remember this wonderful man with me.

Thanks and love to you all.

Cat xxxxx
