Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many Cavaliers suffer from ill-health, in particular heart disease and a neurological disease called Syringomyelia (SM). Both my dogs, Oliver and Aled, have a heart murmur and SM, so I do as much as I can to raise funds for the many research projects aimed at finding better medication and treatment and genetic markers for these diseases. Cavalier Matters provides information and raises funds to support these research projects, so a team of us and our Cavaliers will be fundraising for the charity, knowing that the money raised will go where it can be of most help for our lovely breed.

The Coventry Walkathon is an annual event that takes place in the lovely War Memorial Park. We shall be doing one circuit round the perimeter of the park, which is 1.75 miles. Last year we entered a team of 6 people and about 15 Cavaliers; we hope to increase these numbers this year and make a real Cavalier impact!

Last year we were able to raise an amazing £660 for this cause. This year we are aiming even higher and hope you will be as generous again. Thank you from the team and our Cavaliers.
