We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

After surviving testicular cancer in 2016 I took up cycling to raise money for two charities, The Oddballs Foundation and Prostate Cancer UK. In 2017 and 2018 I cycled to Amsterdam and have raised money for both of these charities.

In 2017 I had the privilege of cycling with my good friend John Jones who has been a suffer of prostate cancer for the last 11 years. In 2018, unfortunately he was unable to cycle with me again as his cancer had moved and a spot of cancer was found on his vertebrae  He underwent radiotherapy and it was hoped he would recover. In August of 2018 we both made the decision we would ride to Amsterdam together again to raise as much money as possible for prostate cancer UK. But also as a target for his recovery. So that is why I am doing this again to raise awreness and funds but also to travel a journey with a good friend in the hope that this will be a celebration of his recovery.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story and I hope you can support me. However big or small that support may be it will help to further progress the research into a men’s cancer that takes the life of one man every 45 minutes.
