**Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer's Scotland works to improve the quality of life of people affected with dementia. They provide practical support to those with dementia and their carers. Their work also includes a research programme to improve the knowledge we have about dementia and its treatment - and pursuing the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
