In September 2010, we are planning to go on a 12 day tour to Africa to help the children of Lesotho to get tested for HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of the stigma that surrounds it. We have to raise £5000 to accomplish our mission! We will be visiting local schools and orphanages and running HIV/AIDS education sessions, playing football with local teams and visiting local AIDS projects to see how the money we've raised will make a difference.
We are planning to organise many fund-raising events over the next year to help reach our target. All the money that we raise will go towards registered charity Kick 4 Life, which uses sport as a tool to tackle poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa. FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR 2010 -
-Cecilia is organising a 'blow dry' day at the end of February at Mowgli haircutters, located in Primrose hill. Everybody is welcome to come and get a professional sunday hairdo for just £10. Treat yourself to something special while helping our cause at the same time. ALL proceeds will be going to Kick4life.
-The 18th of March is Preeti's birthday so instead of spending any money on a card or a present, why don't you donate even just a little amount for this fantastic cause?!
-On the 3rd of April Cecilia is going to Italy, Verona, to play a gig in a book shop (Libreria Gheduzzi). there will be a mimimum offer of €3 and all the proceeds will be going to Kick4life.
-On Sunday the 30th of May we will be situated at the South Bank, near Tower Bridge, busking and trying to have fun and entertain people with nice and happy songs! come and donate something! Even coins help!

Nel Settembre 2010 abbiamo in programma di passare 12 giorni in Sud Africa, a Lesotho, per aiutare i bambini della comunità locale ad essere testati per l'AIDS. Anche solo £10 (€12 circa) danno la possibilità ad un bambino di essere testato al centro e, se positivo, di essere trasferito al centro di trattamento deputato.
EVENTI PER LA RACCOLTA DI FONDI -
-Organizzerò una 'giornata per la piega' alla fine di Febbraio e probabilmente nei mesi successivi, al salone Mowgli, che si trova a Primrose hill. Siete tutti benvenute a partecipare a questa giornata per un piccolo trattamento professionale al basso prezzo di £10, le quali verranno donate interamente all'associazione di Kick4life.
-Il 18 di Marzo è il compleanno di Preeti, quindi invece di farle un regalo o mandarle una cartolina perchè non donate dei soldi per aiutarla a raccogliere i fondi per questa buona causa?
-Il 3 di Aprile, appena dopo il mio rientro a Verona, ho organizzato un concerto di beneficienza alla Libreria Gheduzzi. La serata comincia alle 21.30 e il minimo di offerta è di €3! Quindi raccogliete i vostri spiccioli e venite a condividere una piacevole serata in compagnia di amici e musica! Il totale delle donazioni andrà donata a Kick4life.
Il 12 di Giugno participeremo al 'World Naked Bike Ride' per aiutarci a contribuire alla nostra causa. Pedaleremo in giro a Londra per supportare la vulnerabilità dei ciclisti e per combattere la dipendenza all'uso dell'olio. Se volete che ci togliamo dei vestiti donate una somma e i vostri desideri saranno esauriti!

Nous avons plannifier, pour septembre 2010, de partir en Afrique, pour une aventure de 12 jours, dont le but est d’aider les enfants de Lesotho à être dépisté au virus du SIDA (HIV) et d’éveiller les consciences à propos des stigmates qui l’entourent.Pour accomplir notre mission, nous devons réunir la somme de 5000£ (5700 euros) !
Nous visiterons les écoles et les orphelinats pour y tenir des sessions éducatives. Nous organiserons des matchs de football pour les enfants malades et superviserons les projets locaux, afin de voir comment, l’argent que nous avons récolté, pourrait faire la différence.
Nous organisons, au cours de l’année, de nombreux évènements à vocation caritative, pour atteindre notre objectif. Tous les fonds recueillis seront directement reversés au bénéfice de l’organisation de charité Kick4life, laquelle, utilise le sport comme un outil pour combattre la pauvreté et le SIDA en Afrique.
