As a member of Girl Guiding UK I have been selected to take part in a Guiding Overseas Linked with Development (GOLD for short) project to The Gambia! I will be travelling and working with 5 other members of Girl Guiding UK training communities in leadership skills where there is little Guiding and few social provisions for young women.

 

In order to take part in this project I must fundraise £2,000. I will be holding all sorts of events to raise this money, so keep an eye out! If you would like to donate any amount big or small it will be greatly appreciated!

  

I will be attempting the national 3 peak challenge (scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours) on the 8th/9th May 2012. This is a massive challenge for me for please give generously!

 

Update: I completed the 3 peaks challenge in 23 hours and 30 mins, with almost 2 foot on the top of Ben Nevis. Photos to follow!
