Story
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us and to Sharon Windebank for arranging the fundraising event in Royston. We all completed the hike at the weekend, met some amazing people and had a fantastic time. It was a challenge camping and the hiking each day but we were thankful to the great team at GOSH for organising the event so well and the dry weather!

This June My Mummy, Aunty Sharon, Sharon W and Jo will be joining in the fundraising on Hadrian’s Wall Hike. The event is 21miles over two days with 2 nights of camping. They are doing this as a small thank you to Great Ormond Street Hospital for saving my life. I was diagnosed with a serious heart condition known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome at the 20 week antenatal scan, without 2 operations so far, and the care from the GOSH team, I would not be here today.
I have been back home now, (longer than I spent in hospital!) And at my last checkup they said they didn’t want to see me for 6 months! So I am at home having lots of fun with my family and friends and doing everything a 8 month old baby should.
The trip will be tough, the sense of achievement will make it worthwhile, so please sponsor them!
