The end of Challenge12.....

Since January 2012, I've completed 12 challenges a year to raise money for various charities.

Through this insane journey I’ve had the privilege to meet some incredible people and had some amazing adventures. More amazingly, Challenge12 has, to date, collectively raised £131,000 for various charities.

All good things, must come to an end though and four years later, I am about to embark on the fifth and final year of Challenge12.

Between June 30th 2016 and June 30th 2017, I will complete the following 12 challenges:

01. Tough Mudder: To The Bleed - June 2016 - June 2017
      5 Tough Mudders in 12 months to bring up total completed to 10

02. Channel Swim – 23rd to 28th September 2016 . Working in a relay team of 8 to swim the English Channel

03. Camino de Santiago – October 14th to November 9th 2016
       An 800KM walk from France to Spain    

04. Lake Windermere Kayak – 4th March 2017
       Kayaking Britains longest lake – 21 MILES!

05. Sent Into Space – 9th March 2017
      Working with a school to send something into space!

06. Everest Base Camp – 18th March – 2nd April 2017
       Everest. 6000m. Terrifying.

07. The Dunker - 7th May 2017 - Helicopter crash simulator. EKKK

07. Uber Cycle - 12th May to 14th May 2017
      John O’Groats to Lands Ends 

08. Wingwalking – 18th May 2017
       Getting on top of a plane. Oh and I have a fear of heights. Joy

09. Guinness World Record for Longest Hug – 3rd June 2017
       Myself and a friend hugging. For 27hrs

11. 24hr Music Maker – TBC
       Writing, recording and performing 3 songs in a 24hr period

12. Vertical KM at Chamonix - June 23rd 2017

This insane list of challenges, is all to raise money for one charity: Holy’s Home for Children. This is a small and newly formed charity, based in Ghana. If we can raise £20,000 throughout all the challenges this year, then we will be able to build an orphanage and playground as well as other elements to help the orphanage and local community. For my part, I'm going to raise (try to anyway) £2,000.

We are the only source of money for the charity and can only do this through your generosity!
