James Takes The Challenge!

In 2016/2017, I will be taking on several MASSIVE challenges:

• Tough Mudder - August 20th
• Swimming the English Channel (relay) - September 28th
  
• Kayaking Lake Windermere - 4th March 2017

The question is, why am I doing this?

To raise money for a charity I have set up: Holy's Home for Children!

Holy’s Home for Children was registered in early 2016 – after the initial months laying the foundations for the home that will keep 30 children in remote Ghana safe from harm. Our work is guided by our belief that every child deserves to live in a safe and supportive home where education plays the primary role.

With a team of dedicated Ghanaian workmen and supporters across the globe, we are now ready to progress the building from ‘footing’ level – to nearer completion. As the rainy season starts to calm, there’s never been a better time to continue manual work. But we need your help.

Holy's aim is to raise money and awareness so that step by step we become closer to the goal of creating a fully self-sustainable home where children are safe and supported. They also continue to support the local community in which the project is located, firstly by creating jobs, supplying clean, safe drinking water for miles around and other activity to benefit the children and community.

We will be working with Challenge12 this year. A fundraising network founded by Andy Connolly who will be taking on 12 challenges this year and asking friends and family to join him! Email andy@challenge12.co.uk for more details
